Detailed description of Southland Country Club
Southland Country Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
The Southland Golf Course, is located just south of historic Stone Mountain. The course provides a picturesque and relaxing spot for a casual afternoon with friends or a round of golf with an important client.
The course offers a setting of pines, hardwoods, and rolling terrain with rock outcroppings similar to those at Stone Mountain. A 36-acre lake comes into play on three holes.
The course features Penncross Bentgrass greens, bermuda fairways, and bermuda tees. Southland also offers a fully stocked proshop and lounge.

Course is layed out where you make the turn at the furtherest point from the clubhouse. GPS was available on carts, but the GPS stopped working on hole 8. Being unfamiliar with the course and the course having no fairway yardage markers (depended on GPS), club selection was a challenge after GPS stopped. Hole layout was average, greens were average, certainly better courses for the price.
